The Mustard Seed Food Bank exists to serve people of all ages. Each month over 7,000 people benefit from their service. Many people, for a variety of reasons, find their monthly budget stretched to the breaking point. After the rent is paid, the heat and electricity bills are covered and transportation costs are scraped together there is not enough money left to buy the groceries needed to eat. Oftentimes, income does not increase to keep pace with the rising costs of living.
